Who Will Guard the Guardians

Who Will Guard the Guardians

Our nation is in a crisis.  A moral crisis that all but torn this nation asunder.  Where once integrity ruled there is now a loose allegiance to political correctness and and party politics.  No longer do the servants of the people truly represent their constituents but instead have been "purchased" by the power brokers and money changers who have been usurping the will of the people and replacing it with their own selfish intent.

The saddest thing of all is the only thing that can rectify this situation is the ballot box; but that, too, has become corrupted and has little effect on changing the status quo.   So, who is left to stand guard over those chosen to stand guard?

Our elected officials are subject to many temptations and more often than not become addicted to the power their wield.  The more power they have the more power they want and many figuratively sell their souls for that power.    And when they do honor, integrity and moral ethics are thrown into the dustbin.  Washington DC is now full of such individuals.

But, they are not just in the halls of Congress.  Some reside in the Cabal of Bureaucracies that have been created by legislation and have become satrapies of  unlimited power.  And only  Congress can contain them.  And who is to contain Congress as it is now constituted?

Still others are in the Federal judiciary who have taken it upon themselves to reinterpret the meaning of local, state and federal statutes to suit their own "opinion" or interpretation of their intent.
This "legislation from the bench" has been the bane of law and order in this nation.  And it is not limited to them.  We have just borne witness to the director of the FBI do practically the same thing in reinterpreting statutes to decline prosecuting the biggest malefactor in recent memory, Hillary Rodham Clinton.  Only Congress can act to rectify this.  The question remains is will they?

Only the people of this nation can contain the contagion that is now being vectored in Washington.  There are currently two alternatives.  One is the ballot box; but, as stated earlier, that too has in many instances been corrupted.  What is left?  Only an Article V convention that the States can initiate to modify the Constitution with amendments that will restore the place of the people in the role of guardian of the guardians is a viable alternative.

Dear reader, all you have to do is pressure your state legislatures to join such a movement.    Now is the time for all good people to come to the aid of their nation.

The Rule of the Lawless

The Rule of the Lawless

There are many citizens in this nation who have grown weary of the circular apology tour engaged in by liberal Democrats who say they won't do something again knowing full well they shouldn't have done it in the first place.

Of particular note are the recent machinations of one William Jefferson "Slick Willy" Clinton who continues to behave in an unethical and unscrupulous manner for political reasons.  And when he is taken to task for them all he does is say "Sorry, I won't do it again".    I for one say, "Apology not accepted".  The reason being I know he will do it again and again.

And, of course, there is his "mate" Hillary Rodham Clinton, or as I like to call her Harridan Hillary.  She is the very definition of a rich bitch, a snob if you will, who is of the personal opinion that she is entitled to the position of President of the United States.  In this she is supported by the elite makeup of the Democratic Party and by the hierarchy of what has been labeled the main stream media.  The MSM is made up of news organizations that have been purchased by those with a definite bar sinister in their escutcheon and some of whom have close familial ties with those currently in power in the halls of government.

The citizens of the nation are fed up with the status quo and are slowly reasserting their will to reestablish the rule of law and abolish what has become the rule of the lawless.  They see the civil liberties guaranteed by the Bill of Rights being eroded by the members of the Democratic party who are on record in their declarations of revoking them.  This includes not only elected members of Congress but certain judges who also feel it would be in the best interests of this nation to do so.

These elite "snobs", there is no other word for it, feel they are better equipped to rule this nation and it's people.  They are convinced that their idea of government is the solution to all problems.  In doing so they have, in essence, violated their oath of office to "... preserve, protect and defend the Constitution..." and have become the "domestic enemy" the Founding Fathers clearly warned against.

"Where there is a will, there is a way" and the citizens of the United States of America need to reassert that will and restore "... government of the people, by the people and for the people..." or they will assuredly lose it if Hillary Rodham Clinton is elected to office once more.

Donald Trump may be an unsatisfactory solution to some but one must consider that he is a solution and it's up to the voters of this nation to at least let that solution be implemented.  At this time only an outsider has a chance of changing Washington DC politics.   We cannot rely on a solution by those who created the problem in the first place.  We have seen what Barack Obama has done to insure his "legacy".  We should not rely on his surrogate, Harridan Hillary.

God Bless America - Swing Out Sweet Land

An excerpt from the 1970 Television Special - John Wayne's Swing Out sweet Land

We will never see their like again in our lifetimes.

Singing a song of Freedom - Holiday Inn

Singing a song of Freedom from the movie Holiday Inn

It was a time when patriotism counted for something.  When the enemies of this nation were clearly delineated and fought against in unison.  The spirit of liberty was at a zenith because there was a serious danger that it could be lost to the forces that were arrayed against the free world.

There are forces today that are also arrayed against the free world but some politicians would rather confuse the populace on just who they are.  However, there remain many who are not so easily confused.  We can only hope they will prevail and win the day.

You're A Grand Old Flag - Yankee Doodle Dandy

What this nation needs right now is a flag waver like George M Cohan; and he, or she, is needed desperately.  Who will come to the fore?  Who will lead us in restoring a patriotic fervor that will replace the division that has all but torn this nation asunder?

At no other time in this nation's history has there been such a pall over the land as there is now.   Too many are quick and even eager to take offense at what others say and do.  A mighty wedge has been driven through the heartland of America by those who have a vested interest in that division.  It's time to remove that wedge and restore unity for it will and always will be, "United we stand, divided we fall."

And those who complain about flag waving one can only reply "Can you think of a better flag to wave?".

Tempus Fugit

 Tempus Fugit

As we grow older we begin to notice that the passage of time seems to accelerate and holidays we once waited interminably for sneak up on us before we're really ready for them.   We put up a new calendar in January and before we know it twelve months have flown by and a new one must take it's place.

Anniversaries come and go with regularity during our passage through time.   Some we remember easily while others have a tendency to elude us.  Various calendar dates we would like to remember somehow become bunched together like numbers in a hat that are pulled randomly.  Writing them down was one aid we used not so long ago.  However, the passage of time and advances of technology allow us to digitally store them in a variety of hand held devices that once only existed in science fiction media.

In fact we have witnessed a rapid progression of technology in the past 50 years that have no match in any previous historical period.  In 1966 computers were still massive electronic devices that occupied air conditioned rooms that could well have held three or four large school classrooms.  Today a simple cellphone small enough to fit in a shirt pocket holds far more computing power (at least 12,000 times more powerful than ENIAC) than the mainframes of the 1950's and 1960's.

In a landscape that was once filled with television antennas there are now satellite dishes, cell phone towers and miles and miles of coaxial cable all delivering entertainment, news, sports and personal communications the likes of which have never been seen before.  World events are just a mouse click or stylus touch away on the device of our choosing.   But, sadly, none of this has served to join the world in a universal unity but rather has served to separate and isolate us.  The personal touch; the face to face communication has rapidly deteriorated among many who demonstrate an overwhelming reliance on an electronic opiate.

However, the progression of events has been quite tumultuous over those same 50 years rife with armed conflicts between nations and ideologies that never seem to come to an end.  Rather than making progress in international relations,  the world continues to be assaulted on many fronts by both religious and political philosophies that continually drive wedges in any contemplated world unity.   Far too many seek to keep others enslaved to their "one true philosophy" in order to maintain the political control with which they have waxed fat on the backs of those who toil in the fields, factories and shops.

What can any single individual do to combat such division and enslavement?   Currently there is a crisis among the elite and their allies everywhere over the choice made by the citizens of the UK to restore their nations sovereignty, and that is what lies at the heart of the referendum.  Many of the older generation have seen the control they've enjoyed for so long escaping their grip like a catfish that gets out of the hands of a fisherman who isn't careful enough to avoid it's dorsal fin and winds up being painfully stung.

The citizens of the United States of America can well relearn that in unity there is strength.  Enough strength to send the liberals a message that they want to end their enslavement by entrenched liberal politicians, and world organizations that have dismal records of achievement; that they are not going to let their hopes and dreams be torn asunder any longer.  The choices faced by the electorate are not the optimal best but it's a choice between a further enslavement to socialism or a chance to forever destroy the corrupt foundation upon which the Washington establishment rests.

The vote is the power of the people, their sovereign franchise, to choose but it's up to them to choose wisely and not be swayed by political promises that everyone is entitled to a cornucopia of riches without having to pay for them.  There is no such thing as a free lunch and there never will be.  All one has to do is look South to the country of Venezuela to see that socialism (redistribution of wealth as some call it) does eventually collapse, depending on the greed and corruption of those who gain authority  The voters of the United States have an opportunity to remove all such individuals from public office.  It's up to them whether they take it, or not.
